At Mako, we are not simply colleagues, but collaborators inspiring and pushing each other to reach our full potential. Our flat structure ensures that everyone’s voice is heard and opportunities for career growth and mobility within the company are endless. We began trading more than 20 years ago, embracing the change from open outcry to the screens. Our journey of constant re-invention and discovery has continued with the development of high performance teams; our traders, developers and operations staff all work side by side sharing insights and knowledge. We share problems and work together for common goals.

Ours is a culture of life long learners, we want to provide as many educational opportunities as possible about the ever-changing options market making environment. Wellbeing

Employee wellbeing is a top priority and Mako actively encourages a healthy work-life balance. We believe the best way to facilitate engagement is by creating an environment where you can be playful as well as professional. This is why having some down time is considered a key part of employee wellbeing. Whether you prefer chess games or hackathons, pool or poker tournaments, or simply sampling craft cocktails with great company, there will always be an interesting event to get involved in.

We provide private health and dental care, flexible working, fresh fruit daily and an in-office gym where we hold regular yoga and personal training sessions. As part of our ongoing "Live Well" initiative we host nutritionist popup clinics, expert lectures on everything from biohacking to stress management, and the occasional laughter yoga session. We are always up for incorporating new ideas and initiatives into our wellbeing programme.
